The Florence Lindberg Petersen Room, located on third floor, was created using part of the original Ballroom. This very romantic room, decorated in regal purple, rich gold and ivory, features a stunning 1860's walnut queen size Pennsylvania bed. You can savor your optional champagne and gourmet evening dessert tray (small extra charge) as you lounge on an ornate parlor sofa. Or maybe you would rather relax in a chair by the fireplace, open a good book, and just put your feet up. Either way, Florence's Room is a haven from the bustle of the outside world with it's luxurious bedding, custom window treatments, soft antique lighting, and plush carpeted floors. The two person Jacuzzi tub is the focal point of this room as it is set into an alcove under the windows and has romantic antique crystal lighting on either side. Adjoining Florence's room is a shared sitting area with an Eastlake settee and a large cushioned window seat where you can read to each other or cuddle while looking out over Chaska's historic City Square Park. And, of course, there is also a large private water closet with a spacious shower.
